August 11, 2005 - Reactorz reported on the impact of advertising on teens clothing choices in a featured article in Marketing Magazine's Youth Marketing Report written by Reactorz Research Director Kelly Lynne Ashton. Marketers were advised to be cautious when using sexually provocative advertising because while it will be memorable it will not have as much impact on teen's purchase decisions as do peer influence and instore displays. The piece was illustrated by the voices of Reactorz members expressing their opinions on a 'sexy' Guess ad and a more straightforward American Eagle Outfitters ad.

February 10, 2005 - Under the title "Teens Talk Back", the March 2003 issue of Canadian Living reported the reaction of teen Reactorz members to the question "If there was one thing you could tell adults to help them better understand teens, what would it be?" Contained within the "Family & Parenting" section of the magazine, Reactorz teens were quoted as wanting to dispel myths about their age group such as "We don't all smoke and do drugs. We don't all act like morons and listen to crazy music."

Reactorz on CKLW Windsor Now
December 16, 2004 - Melanie Deveau, host of Windsor Now on AM800 CKLW radio, interviewed Kelly Lynne Ashton, Reactorz Research Director, to get the scoop on what Generation Y wants for Christmas. Gift certificates, cash to pay bills and items for their new apartments (towels, sheets, kitchen appliances) were just as high on the list as the expected Discmans, digital cameras and dvd players. Reactorz at Interactive Television for Children Conference
November 23, 2004 - Kelly Lynne Ashton, Reactorz Research Director, spoke to an audience of children's television and web producers at "Interactive Television For Children" conference hosted by Ryerson University's Children's Interactive Media Project (CHIMP) and the Alliance for Children's Television. The producers were interested to learn about both the business model for Reactorz and how it works as an active community of young people.
